Art would not exist if we were not able to express our thoughts and ideas. For me art is a way to share my vision, my interpretation of a place, a color. I continue to find it an inspiration when I notice the way the clouds fill the sky or the way waves hit the sand, or the expression on a strangers face or a child's smile. All moments in our life that would go unnoticed. My paintings are an expression of the world I live in and it's ever changing. Each new painting I approach with a vision to create and challenge myself while I still utilize the knowledge and techniques I've learned along the way over the years. I do not limit myself to one style. Inspiration and ideas change and I want to reflect that in my art. If a viewer stops for just a moment to view and reflect on a piece I have created, then I have succeeded in my work.
